When pandemic hit last year (since our family members are working in aviation and retail industry which being affected badly), this business has assisted our family in overall household expenses. This year, we have then focusing to grow this humble business.
Started as a weekend business in year 2018, Dapur Ebab is the home-based business which catering Halal Korean Food. It begins with our passion and interest towards Korean Cuisine, try and error process to get the halal ingredients while maintaining the right taste.
With Malaysian high interest towards Korean Music and Drama, we notice there is an upsurge demand on Korean Food especially amongst the Muslim.
In 2019, we visited South Korea to study their cuisine and it was nice of them to advise the substitute ingredients that to replace some of the non-halal items used in their cuisine.
From three menu – Bibimbap, Japchae and Tteokbokki, currently we have extensive menu available namely as Korean Fried Chicken, Jjajangmyeon, Kimchi Fried Rice and Kimbap.
We recently expand our menu and introduce new range of Frozen Menu which is Chicken and Beef Bulgogi. The ‘Ready-To-Cook’ concept, hoping it can reach to more potential market.

Production of Korean Food (from food production and provide delivery service via personal runner, Lalamove and Grab). We started with three menus in year 2018 – Bibimbap, Japchae and Tteokbokki, and as to date we have extensive menu available namely as Korean Fried Chicken, Jjajangmyeon, Kimchi Fried Rice and Kimbap to cater more demands from our

When did we start our business?
Started as a weekend business in year 2018, we have been serving the local markets since then (Sepang, Nilai, Negeri Sembilan, Cyberjaya, Putrajaya & KL).

How do we intend to use the funds?
We can see that our sales are increasing when we introducing the new range of Ready-To-Cook Frozen Menu (Frozen Chicken and Beef Bulgogi). We plan to expand these products to other parts of Malaysia as well through Stockists and Agent system.
Due to the new normal practice as well, more customers are more comfortable to order online and demanding frozen products that can be cooked instantly at home.
We will be using the working capital to fund raw materials, equipment and marketing for our products and services.
